Elizabeth McKellar and Deborah Howard elected to new roles at the Society

At the Society's 2020 Annual General Meeting, held on Wednesday 28 October, the new position of President-Elect was created and Elizabeth McKellar, Professor of Architectural and Design History at the Open University, was elected to the role. The position will be held for one year, until the next AGM, when the current President steps down.

The Meeting also agreed to the nomination of Deborah Howard, Professor Emerita at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of the British Academy, as an Honorary Patron Member of the Society. Professor Howard's formal induction will be in the New Year. We are very pleased to welcome them both to their respective positions within the Society.
