SAHGB Vacancy: Education and EDI Lead

The Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain (SAHGB) is seeking a new Lead in Education and EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity) to take up this role from 1 June 2025.

This voluntary role delivers an important area of the SAHGB’s day-to-day operations, with the responsibilities of overseeing the funded awards for higher education and early career research in architectural history and related disciplines, chairing the annual Dissertation Prizes, and supporting initiatives such as workshops and symposiums for the Early Career Research (ECR) networks connecting postgraduates students at PhD and Masters’ level and those in their initial years in academia, research institutions and professional practices. In addition, you will also liaise and support the conveners across ECR and EDI networks in the society and their agendas and activities towards promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in architectural history and related fields.
