The SAHGB Study Tour to Manchester: September 2023

Taking place on 21st, 22nd and 23rd September, the tour will offer visits, with expert guides, to a range of sites, buildings, parks, historic houses, regeneration projects, in the cultural centre of the city and out to the periphery. Professor Mark Crinson, author of the recent study Shock City: Image and Architecture in Industrial Manchester, shortlisted for this year’s Alice Davis Hitchcock Award, will give the keynote lecture to open the event on Thursday evening, and delegates are invited to a celebratory dinner on Friday.

A small number of student bursaries will be made available to assist student participation.
